Tickets are ON SALE NOW for the Waukee Schools Foundation's Annual Impact Gala presented by Shottenkirk Chevrolet and the Waukee & West Lakes Hy-Vee!

Enjoy a grown-ups night out with both live and silent auctions, dinner, drinks, inspiring stories and great entertainment.

Barn Town Brewing will be there with complimentary beer!

While supplies last, guests will enjoy two of their most popular beers- Neon Hazy, a hazy IPA with Citra and Mosaic hops and the Iowa Gold, a light, easy drinking Golden Ale made for all seasons.

Doors open at the Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel on Feb. 17, 2024 at 6:00PM.

This is the largest fundraiser supporting the students & staff of all Waukee Schools and you won't want to miss it!  

Purchase tickets before February 5, 2024! Ticket price will increase to $125 thereafter.

GOLDEN TICKET RAFFLE

Purchase a chance to win your choice of any live auction item!

Each ticket is $100. Tickets are available to purchase on the items page.

Only 150 tickets will be available for purchase. There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets you can purchase. For each ticket you purchase, your name will be entered into the drawing that will take place before the live auction at the event. Winner must be present at the event at the time of the drawing to claim a live auction item.

For $100, you could win a live auction package worth thousands!

Dress Code | Cocktail attire

Cash-Only Bars | The Sheraton is unable to accept credit card payments at the bar. There is an ATM on site. Your ticket includes two drink tickets (good for domestic bottled beer or house wine by the glass) AND complimentary beer from Barn Town, while supplies last. 

Seating | General admission tickets are open seating. Look for tables marked 'Open Seating'. Sponsor tables & VIP tables will be reserved and marked with your company or host name.

Upon Arrival | Check in at the registration tables in the lobby near the fountain.

Charged Cell Phone | Bring a fully charged cell phone! Bidding is done on your phone.

Auction Items | Preview live auction items and Fund-a-Need initiatives by visiting the VIEW ITEMS button on the event homepage. Bid on silent auction items starting February 10!

 

To ensure check in runs smoothly, please have a card on file prior to the event.

You can add your credit card to your GiveSmart account by navigating to the MY INFO icon from the homepage dashboard, or by following the prompt sent via text the week of the event. 

 

If you win a silent or live auction, checkout will begin upon conclusion of the program. Please plan to stop by the checkout tables located outside the ballroom doors to pick up your item(s) before leaving the event.  

If you are bidding remotely and will not be in attendance to pick up your auction item(s), items be available for you to pick up on Monday, February 18 between 4:30pm-6:00pm at the Waukee Innovation & Learning Center (295 SE Ashworth Rd,
Waukee).

  

 

Please note: All purchases made through this site are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend this event for any reason, purchased tickets may be transferred to another person or the purchase can be converted to a donation in exchange for a tax deduction receipt. If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full.

 EMCEE & KEYNOTE SPEAKER 

Adrianne Towe


Adrianne has served as the Foundation's Executive Director since 2020 when she returned to the Des Moines metro after studying and working for nonprofits around the globe. She is an Urbandale graduate and holds a masters in Intercultural Studies and International Development, with an emphasis in Humanitarian Ethics. 

Adrianne brings over fifteen years of experience in nonprofits, including food security work in South Africa during the Horn of Africa Food Crisis, youth development work with Boys & Girls Clubs at the local, regional, and national levels, and service as a Social Impact Consultant for GLG Insights, supporting growth-phase nonprofits at the national and global levels. She currently serves our community as the Board Chair for the Waukee YMCA, a board member for Waukee Rotary, and an active volunteer with Team Run Free. 

Adrianne will tell you that her life, education, and work experience can be narrowed to one specific focus: Creating systems that do good well. 

You can often find Adrianne at the dog park with her two Siberian Huskies, Barefoot & Traveler, on a paddleboard or in a kayak, and running trails throughout the Metro. Challenge her to a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors if you'd like to get to know her competitive side. 

 AV & VIDEO PRODCTION 

Lonumn Events

Dave Wolfrum, owner of Lonumn Events and a Waukee parent, is providing all AV services and video production for this event.

Dave grew up outside of Chicago and has had a passion for all things event entertainment since a young age. After moving to different states for work, he and his family landed in Des Moines, IA. It was here he and his wife co-founded Lonumn Events. 

Dave enjoys entertaining through the speakers in many different forms. In addition to DJ services and photobooth rentals, Dave is also passionate about creating media that moves people. Operating independently, Dave brings dedicated and specialized care to each and every client. 

Lonumn Events will light up a room, move bodies to dance, move hearts to give, and provide your guests with a unique and meaningful event experience that will be long remembered.

Jared Chambers

Since joining Peoples Company in 2014, Jared has made his mark as an award-winning professional auctioneer and as a licensed real estate agent in Iowa and Missouri. Whether serving as the lead auctioneer, or as a professional ring man on auction day, he strives to make sure the auction process is executed in a professional manner.

Jared is also an integral part of the online auction capabilities that Peoples Company provides, either by online only auctions or a combination of live and online bidding.
